Customer experiences highlight the restaurant’s warm service and lively atmosphere. Many guests, like Devon Davies, rave about the Pollo al Carbon, stating they returned for the dish two weeks in a row. However, it’s worth noting, as Katie Hubicki pointed out, that peak hours might affect service due to the bustling environment. Yet, the energy adds an exciting dynamic to your evening.

As Beth Poovey mentioned, dining here feels almost like a tropical holiday—an enticing invitation to indulge in delicious, authentic Dominican cuisine. In summary, MaBi Tropical is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience steeped in culture and flavor. Be sure to visit, and immerse yourself in what promises to be a culinary adventure you’ll cherish.
“ We had dinner on a Saturday night. At the start when we got there at 7:00 p.m., we had excellent service and we're enjoying ourselves quite a lot. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious. Unfortunately at a certain point, a large party came in and our waiter was assigned to them. We felt like the service dropped off quite a bit after that. Additionally there was a DJ whose music was nice but the volume made it incredibly difficult to talk across the table. We'll be back, but on a different day of the week or earlier in the evening. ”
“ The Pollo al Carbon is so good we came back two weeks in a row for a dinner date. Servers and bartenders were very friendly and the food was great. ”
“ Great vibes, music, and amazing food! From the moment you walk in, the lively atmosphere & music set the perfect tone without being overwhelming. The flavors were bold and authentic. I'm definitely returning! ”

“ Great spot! Food was awesome - we had the Cuban and smash burger and both Were flavorful. Asked randomly for a spicy drink and they made me this pineapple jalapeno thing that was to die for. We sat at the bar and the staff was attentive and charming - my husband and I will definitely come back when in NODA. ”

“ The food was very tasty. I ordered the fried rice with shrimp added. The sweet plantains are good and the avocado was fresh. I enjoyed the Daisy drink, and the grapefruit drink was nice too. I enjoyed the upbeat music playing, and the staff are chill cool. The guac was very tasty also, light with a citrus style taste. ”
